Life Science BLH

The purpose of Life Science is to provide students with an introduction to the vocabulary, concepts and techniques involved in the biological sciences.  Life Science will cover these topics:

• First Quarter             Animals

• Second Quarter         Animals
                                 Cells, Heredity, & Classification

• Third Quarter          Cells, Heredity, & Classification
                                Microorganisms, Fungi & Plants

• Fourth Quarter        Microorganisms, Fungi & Plants

Minds-on experiences (hands-on + thinking!), special projects, and outdoor experiences will be used to develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of the curriculum studied.
